Satu dua kucing berlari,
Mari makan roti berinti,
Sago Gula Melaka sedap menjilat jari,
Tapi itu hanya dalam mimpi.
Once a girl got a cooking pot,
She boiled some water and stirred alot,
But when the pot got too hot,
She went and burnt the whole lot.
Yesterday a few of us trainees gathered at Anna's house to have an 'International Dinner' cum farewell for Eva and Maryam. There were 11 of us. Anna-German, Sandra-Colombian, Marinka & Simona-Slovenian, Maryam & Fahimeh-Iranian, Eva-Greek, YewSun-Singaporean, Xenia-Russion (not sure about her name...so sorry), Jouni-Finnish and of course moi. :D
Sandra's friends, Simona and Marinka from Slovenia were in Berlin for a visit. They cooked us the main dish. (forgot the name of the dish...shame on me...tau makan saja..) Sandra made us a tropical salad. The dishes were wonderful! Dessert was supposed to be prepared by this Malaysian girl....BUT....gila babi dia....she burnt the dessert!! Come on lar....who in the world can hanguskan dessert wan?? Apparently it can happen... :p so kantoi... we settled for Iranian cookies as dessert in the end. Thanks to Fahimeh.
Overall it was a nice evening. Good company, delicious food, nice apartment. Tonight it's Party time at Eva's place!
Erh....dun wanna tell you all what I cooked(burnt) lar...paiseh only.... take a guess.... :p
The burnt 'dessert'. Off to the trash...
The burnt bottom...
The hungry people waiting for food...(see, that guy had to eat the flower)
Chefs and some tumpang glamour people at the kitchen
Group photo in the kitchen before we eat!
Yum Yum Yum....and it's all mine.....muahahahaha
Look at the camera people....sini laa..sini...
The whole lot...malas to name one by one. You all guess who is who lar ya...
The 'surprise' backup dessert..

This song just popped in my head yesterday. Everytime i listen to it, tears well up in my eyes and i have goosebumps on my skin. Listening it in the office, i had to stop myself from lifting my hands and singing the chorus out loud. :p
*Love Song for a Saviour*In open fields of wild flowers,
she breathes the air and flies away
She thanks her Jesus for the daises and the roses
in no simple language
Someday she'll understand the meaning of it all
He's more than the laughter or the stars in the heavens
As close a heartbeat or a song on her lips
Someday she'll trust Him and learn how to see Him
Someday He'll call her and she will come running
and fall in His arms and the tears will fall down and she'll pray,
"I want to fall in love with You"
Sitting silent wearing Sunday best
The sermon echoes through the walls
A great salvation through it calls to the people
who stare into nowhere, and can't feel the chains on their souls
He's more than the laughter or the stars in the heavens
As close a heartbeat or a song on our lips
Someday we'll trust Him and learn how to see Him
Someday He'll call us and we will come running
and fall in His arms and the tears will fall down and we'll pray,
"I want to fall in love with You"
It seems too easy to call you "Savior",
Not close enough to call you "God"
So as I sit and think of words I can mention
to show my devotion
"I want to fall in love with You"
"my heart beats for You"

Pada suatu masa dahulu, Si Suwern memasak Onde-onde.
Onde-onde dihidangkan kepada kawan-kawan.
Kawan-kawan tak mati keracunan dan
hidup bahagia selama-lamanya.
Tamat.
Once upon a time, Suwern cooked Onde-onde.
She served, people ate. Nobody got poisoned.
And they lived happily ever after.
The End.
The aftermath....
